DON’T DIE



We are at war with death and its causes. 
We are building towards an infinite horizon. 
We are fighting for the freedom to exist as long as one chooses. 
Why? Because we have things to do tomorrow. And tomorrow’s tomorrow. Until we no longer want tomorrow.




WHAT IS THIS
We are a decentralized community united in defeating all causes of human and planetary death and building all promoters of prosperity. 

We want the choice of continued life or death; 
To boldly explore the future;
for earth to be a sustainable planet for those who choose life, 
And to secure the future of human existence with the rise of artificial intelligence.



BUILDING DON’T DIE FOR HUMAN HEALTH
In 2021, I endeavored to figure out our proximity to longevity escape velocity. How far away are we from one year of chronological time passing and one staying the same age biologically? I called this Project Blueprint.  

To do this my team and I evaluated the lifespan and healthspan scientific literature, ranked it according to power laws, and then implemented all of the science into me. I then became the most biologically measured person in history.  We got an answer (see results).

Methodically, we sought to build an algorithm with science and data that could better care for me than I can myself. Just as technology is better at GPS navigation and keeping all the world’s information organized, I wondered if it would be better at helping me not die. 

For example, instead of my mind eating what it “was in the mood for” or “what sounded good”, I shifted decision authority to my body. We measured my 70+ organs, enabling them to speak via data, what they needed to be in peak condition. My mind did not have the authority to override the algorithm. 

Before this, my flawed form of intelligence engaged in silly self destructive behavior (i.e. eating too much food) that increased my speed to death. That’s primitive. 

I reframed the situation, categorizing any of my personal behaviors that increase my speed to death as an act of violence. A strong word we use for the most egregious acts in society, which are forbidden outside sanctioned events such as sports. Evening Bryan who insisted on overeating at night was inflicting violence on Sleep Bryan who then couldn’t sleep, Morning Bryan who then couldn’t get up, Work Bryan who then couldn't focus and Dad Bryan who was then grumpy and tired. 

After publicly sharing my Project Blueprint process for several years, now tens of thousands of people all over the world are following a similar protocol. 

The process I followed to create this Don’t Die endeavor: 

Step 1: Identify the source of death
+ Biological aging which leads to death 

Step 2. State your goal
+ Personally achieve age escape velocity where one year passes and I remain the same biological age. 

Step 3: Create a plan
+ Measure every organ of my body to determine its biological age; 
+ Consult the best science;
+ Implement the power law therapies; 
+ Reframe “normal” of self destructive behaviors to its reality, violence against self 
+ Continuously measure organs to evaluate age slowing or age reversal effect; 
+ Repeat until the goal is achieved.  

Step 4: Measure because progress begins with counting.

“I have so many questions”. Us too. 

DD means something different to everyone. It’s also complicated, nuanced and sometimes hard to quantify. For example, is staying out late with friends better than going to bed on time? How about just once a month?  Is accelerating technological development better than slowing it down? Does sometimes eating a treat make any meaningful difference? 

There are thousands of more great questions on what DD means practically, politically, economically, philosophically. That’s ok. We work on these gnarly problems all the time in society. For example, Democracy is just over 200 years old. A general consensus emerged in the 1770s that citizens wanted to adopt democracy in place of monarchy. We’ve spent the past two centuries fighting about what that actually means. DD is no different. There are endless questions to ask and answer. 

What’s important is that there are enough of us to create a general consensus that after 4.5 billion years, for the first time ever, we can be bold in imagining that continued life is a choice.

In November 2023 I invited the internet “join me for a trail run tomorrow (Sunday) at 7 am?”  11 people showed up.

Two months later, I asked again and 3,560 gathered in 58 countries. Now there’s over 5,000 community members.

DON'T DIE is here.  It's real, and is sitting atop a gigantic store of energy.  A discovery as significant as any natural resource.
